Prepare Software

Follow the steps below to prepare software for connecting to external codecs.

1. Make sure you have the drivers for I2S and the external codec.
2. Make sure you have enabled the driver modules in kernel.
   1. SoC I2S driver modules, including linux-menuconfig and jh7110.dtsi, jh7110-common.dtsi.
   2. External codec driver modules, including linux-menuconfig and sf_wm8960.dtsi, sf_ac108.dtsi.
3. Build and pack your program correctly.
