This topic lists the hardware and software requirements before using the AI kit.
Hardware Requirements
Prepare for the following hardware items.

| Board | VisionFive 2 or VisionFive 2 Lite |
| AI module | Hailo-8L M.2 AI acceleration module |
| Cooling | Heat sink or fan for the Hailo-8L module (strongly recommended) |
| Camera | USB camera (reference: Logitech HD 1080P) |
| Display | HDMI monitor |
| Storage | Micro SD card, 32 GB or larger |
| Peripherals | USB keyboard and mouse |
As illustrated below, connect VisionFive 2 or VisionFive 2 Lite to the Hailo-8L AI acceleration module via the M.2 M-Key interface.
