AI Kit

The VisionFive 2/ VisionFive 2 Lite AI Kit is a collaboration between StarFive and Hailo, designed to deliver a cost-effective, high-performance RISC-V AI solution for edge computing, industrial intelligence, security, robotics, gateway routing, and smart home applications.

The AI kit bundles:

VisionFive 2 or VisionFive 2 Lite – a high-performance RISC-V single board computer
Hailo-8L M.2 AI acceleration module – a dedicated neural network inference processor

The Hailo-8L connects to the board via the M.2 M-Key (PCIe) interface. VisionFive 2 or VisionFive 2 Lite ports Hailo RT, HailoRT-driver, Tappas and other components, providing low-latency, power-efficient deep learning inference for vision applications such as object detection (YOLOv5, YOLOv8, MobileNet_SSD), image segmentation, and pose analysis.
